I loved reading all about your trip and your feelings about it. I am so glad you are blogging. It's almost as good as listening to you talk....not as good but it really helps me feel not so far away from you and mom. The picture Tera took of you and mom looking at the coliseum made me cry. I miss you and I love you so much!!
What a beautiful job, Dave! I feel ALMOST like I was with you minus the blisters on my feet :D I can't tell you how thrilled I am that the two of you had the opportunity to travel to such awesome places. The way you write about things makes me feel like I'm reading a history book I've had to purchase. You're an amazing author...I'm truly serious! You ought to consider writing/publishing a book, maybe even a novel or even a series. It's evident that you're a voracious reader, but you have a unique style of your own. I honestly feel privileged to be reading your "musings and mumblings." That Ipad must be quite the thing for you to have traveled with to not only read books with but to publish this blog...how cool! I might have to invest in one after I do more research. I'll have to get your advise, ya thinks?! I don't know who took the pictures, but they're absolutely stunning! The detail is incredible and the composition draws the viewer in. You have a beautiful family, especially little David. What a cutie!!! I have read about half of your blog so far and I'm real anxious to get on with the rest. See you tonight!
